So in my opinion the first (proper) home game to see King's new Lewes is deserving of it's own thread.
This will be my second pre season game, looking forward to seeing how it's progressing since Worthing after the good result earlier in the week.
Who's coming down tonight? Kick off at 7.45pm.
7 adults, £3.50 concessions and kids go free.

Nearly all of these friendlies have fallen really badly with my work schedule and I need to save all my days off and favours for the real stuff. (My boss is a Liverpool fan. poor bloke) Can't do tonight or Whitehawk next Saturday.

It was not good for first half hour and Eastbourne Town deserved to be 3 up with a couple of good goals. However Lewes started on the back foot with players not being at the ground due to incident on M25 which meant a re-shuffle of the team. Score just before half time and second half bossed the game. Players were given there all and for a pre season friendly thats good to see. Booth should have score on ninety minutes to secure a drew but somehow missed but rather he gets this out of the way now rather than when it counts. I'm not despondent about the result and we can lose on Wednesday and Saturday for all I care the 20th August is when it matters.
Talking with people tonight there looks like a good effort is going to be made by fans to travel to Lowestoft and there might be a minibus running by the club as well. Try and get there if you can.

I actually though we were the better side in first and 2nd half. All of there goals were sloppy keeper should of done way better on there 1st goal and there other 2 were just schoolboy errors by our defence. Very impressed with Malvin Kamara who was playing right back i think it would be better if he played on the wing because as we saw he is fantastic at running with the ball and can leave his full back for dead. Ben Pringle who was playing centre back (forgive me if that is not his name !) i was less than impressed with diddnt do anything right and just looked dogey the whole game. I think if i was Steve King delite his contact from the phone. Number 4 who has been on trail for most of the pre season games. I was impressed with him against Worthing and i would get him signed up because he can cover for Holloway while he is out. Goma Lambu looked very skilfull but i dont think we need anymore strikers/wingers in the squad because we have Cade and Malcolm who can play both upfront and on the wing. Even Draycott can do that aswell.
So in short a good performence just erros let us down !
