New season? Well, it'll be interesting at least. Personally I'm looking forward to it!

Not sure the equal pay policy is still in place, Tressell, though if you only come to the men's games you might want it put back - i believe the women's team now bring in the majority of the revenue and have been subsidising the men for a while. They may have bought in more revenue, but with relegation that will not be the case. The crowds are also bound too drop.

Certainly with relegation the margin might narrow but i would still reckon it's the women who bring in the better sponsorships. It will be interesting to see what happens to the crowd numbers. We'll lose a lot of the away support that the bigger teams brought but i think the crowd for the women is less concerned with the level we're playing at and more with supporting women's football and the community. I imagine both women and men's gates will depend on results. Nobody likes to see a team that's losing all the time. We shall see!

Isn't the women's admission cheaper? If so where on earth does the money come from and don't they play less games

Isn't the women's admission cheaper? If so where on earth does the money come from and don't they play less games Has been £12 advance/£13 on the gate for both since the start of the 2022-23 season. Average crowds were pretty similar across last season, albeit the women's team play fewer matches than the men's team.

The last FA blurb I saw seemed to make it 100% clear that 'holding a licence' isn't even necessary at Tier 3...

I’m sure someone currently at the club can confirm the FA Women’s National League requirements for next season as well as the competitive landscape as part of their research

No licence needed in the FA WNL and managers do not need to be Full Time. Happy to answer WNL questions, I'm not part of the WNL or the club.
