Successful at Glebe FC but intrigued as to why he left with a few matches left to play and in a play off place. I think it came as a shock to Glebe. Anyway, fresh start and wish him well. Could be an inspired appointment. Hope he has lots of contacts able to perform at Step 3

Such a pity now that Mr De Zerbi has become available. Ever onward and upward COYR.

Think it sounds like a big gamble on a manager who hasn’t managed at this level, hope he has plenty of contacts of players who has or are capable of playing at this level. Hope he gets at least a reasonable budget to give him a chance to prove himself and hopefully not in a relegation battle all season.

If the Club are budgeting for a Full time Women’s Manager then I would assume that finance is there and the Men’s Budget would be competitive.

Equal budgets don't forget. In today's world of differences between men's and women's typical pay, and the differences between typical budgets for different levels it might make more sense to assign player's budgets more appropriately. I know....apples and oranges, peaches and razzberries. ...... very hard to justify rationally, but a simple 50/50 split hamstrings the club vs. the team's potential.

I thought the club's sugar-daddies had long ago morphed 'equal pay' into 'equal opportunities' for various reasons, no?

I thought the club's sugar-daddies had long ago morphed 'equal pay' into 'equal opportunities' for various reasons, no? Are there still sugar-daddies?

Recent boards appeared to just be following the previously-set attitude to what's equal or not. But in answer to your question, it sounds like they're definitely still needed, yes – to make good the huge losses which someone on here sounded certain were still accruing in the season just gone.......
