Chatham had two skilful and speedy wingers, both of whom we found very difficult to cope with.
We seemed to lack teeth up front, the sort of game where Joe Taylor would probably have popped one in out of the blue, but no-one looked likely to do it today.
In fact, had it not been for Nathan Harvey in goal, we could very easily have conceded six.

We were very poor today, two mistakes by Salmon plus a penalty

I’d argue salmon was at fault for the pen too. Long goal kick and he lets the striker bring it down instead of going for the header and just clearing house. Think he’s been very poor for a long time, not sure how he’s still kicking about.
As for Wood, I feel sorry for him, but he’s just not good enough/doesn’t fit the system. In desperate need of a centre forward who fits.
Clearly some injuries in the squad which led to the changes, we seem thin, but today was extremely poor. Credit to Chatham - they look a well organised side.

We were very poor today, two mistakes by Salmon plus a penalty Same last game! The team were ALL awefull today and could have quite easily come in 4-0 down at half time, in fact we were lucky to lose 3-0. Absolutely nothing up front and the midfield went missing both defensively and in attacking. I also feel it’s a bit harsh on Salmon as the whole bloody team were woeful today. Incidentally Chatham are not top of the league for nothing!

Looked limited on the bench. No forwards. Gondoh? Having said that doubt it would have made a lot of difference. Big game coming up. Need a win

But his absence from the defence left us exposed and, as has been said, Salmon was poor. Wood tries his heart out but, sadly, out of his depth. Desperately need to freshen up the attack ...I'd be tempted to play Moore down the middle if we can't bring anyone in. Nice stadium at Chatham, although not sure why they built the main stand so far back from the pitch.

The stand has always been there - when they installed the 3G they shifted the pitch further towards the other side and made that side narrower

All? I’d say Nathan Harvey was the best player on the pitch by far. Quite right. But for Nathan it would have been quite embarrassing today. He kept us in the game. But once they went in front we felt it was curtains, as we didn't really look like scoring.

No win in four and eleven goals conceded. Need a result on Tuesday to turn this around
