That’s made me really laugh and shows how rumours start…safe to say that the “update” is wide of the mark on so many levels

Is there any truth in this whatsoever?

Must be some interest for it to have got this far.
Would be a massive loss to lose Tony, but I equally don’t think it’s right we stand in the way of what I imagine would be a full time managers job.

Didn't think Russell was on a contract anymore ? In which case he's presumably free to leave whenever he likes without any fee

Tony stated in a facebook post at the end of November that he wasn't currently under contract Stuart Fuller, I think honesty is maybe the best way forward on this one. He is right; I have no plans to leave. A lot can happen from now until the summer so it's not all doom and gloom, so let's see how it unfolds. As for me, I am not on contract. We agreed on one in principle, but it was dependent on a couple of things that needed to happen, and that hasn't materialised, and that's no fault of anyone. So, me and Joe will happily continue on a non-contract basis until told otherwise

No club would put a clause in such as the one stated in the tweet so that was the bit that was ridiculous, nor would be there be any compensation due if he’s not under contract. I’d say the names in the frame for the Dartford role today are Danny Scopes, Jay Saunders, Gavin Rose or Aidy Pennock. If they wait until the summer then there could be a whole host of names in the frame.

Is there any truth in this whatsoever? Well, he went and saw them a couple of weeks ago when out game against Canvey was postponed as he was looking at one of their players. He goes to games most Tuesday and Wednesday’s as you’d expect a manager at our level to do so. People put 2+2 together and come up with a story. Sometimes they are right, more often they aren’t

How on earth can the Club put out that sort of announcement, knowing that it's not true? Unbelievable, on so many levels.

Their approach and style of play has seen the club grow beyond belief and we look forward to the next two years and where this journey will take us.”
