Appearing to be a mass exodus. Clearly money talks.

I think that's it. Every player from last season gone. We don't do Continuity. But let's look on the bright side. Maybe the new players will be better.

I hate this time of any season. I knew once Tony and Joe announced their departure, some players may departed but pretty much everyone has left/going. I know some people would say, well, that's non league for you however, where has the loyalty gone for playing for a club rather than what I can probably only assume, follow the money!
I saw a tweet probably around the time the Fenix trophy was concluded from Tony saying, "I am going to take a period out from managering and focus on youth training" . Couple of weeks later, he is announced as Ramsgate manager.
I honestly belive what has happened has been calculated, put the ducks in a row rather than what has happened is down to "fate".
Don't get me started on me mentioning if we actually have a squad, despite an hour before our first game of the season we didn't even know if we had a keeper!
I know what people will say, no news is good news etc, registrations etc. It's not difficult to update a website or social medias of "I know people will want to know, however we can't release news because of x, y and z. That's transparency, which Lewes apparently pride themselves on!
Rant over - Before you ask, I'm not a new supporter and I've been supporting the Rooks for 25 years!

Tony admitted at the weekends Q&A session that he had spoken to Ramsgate last summer about managing them then.

I think that's it. Every player from last season gone. We don't do Continuity. But let's look on the bright side. Maybe the new players will be better. Why can't everyone just see and accept that they were all here simply for a chunk of the unsustainable playing budget, and nowt else? Some may have been told to say that the club's ethos was the attraction, or some other baloney, but the reduced budget has had the immediate and inevitable effect that any realist saw coming as soon as the club admitted during the mercury nonsense that it was skint. Don't blame the players or manager – blame the board. And from what little I know about non-league football, no – they won't be better.

What frustrates me is the lack of communication. There's been no update on recruitment since the announcement of the two players coming in, let alone any transparency about the finances. The CEO, manager and all players bailing out leaves me to read between the lines on how serious it is. Presumably the players were told to look for new clubs. The comments by Ola and Jake about joining Horsham for the attacking football, blah, blah, blah are laughable. Surely this is the time to push season tickets, and relaunch the 12th man fund? Currently the link to tickets on the club website doesn't appear to show any way of buying a season tickets.
