Well done to Chris H and Chris F-M ( and all contributors) for another fine publication. Was good to see you Chris F-M outside the’Pan’ and to witness the sale of a good number of copies of the fanzine to many faces from the past. Bit of a shame to witness an individual who ,rather than politely decline the opportunity to purchase the magazine ,thought it was far better to make a rude and unnecessary gesture …and to a woman at that!!! Also hilarious to see one of the stewards running up and down the car park shouting “it’s got nothing to do with Lewes F.C”……Really?.It isn’t that deep and it is meant as a bit of light relief (something lacking these days!) as well as getting across the opinions of quite a few of us long standing fans of the club.Anyway , I personally enjoyed the read and look forward to the next fun packed edition.

From the descriptions above it doesn't a lot like " light relief". My " light relief" was provided by some excellent goals and a 4-2 win but each to their own

And if the Chris' want to turn their journalistic powers into critising a badly run club that's falling apart they could switch their attention to their first club Crystal Palace

I enjoyed what I have read so far. Im not sure of exact details and I hate to criticise people who have tried to run a club at this level . mainly because I have never done it and know nobody is doing it for money. But, but, but. I was always sceptical about the overall direction of attempting to do so much, especially as in the women and equal pay. The sheer logistics of it for a club at our level. And it has never seem to have been democratic or even organised , hence I gave up ownership not because of a few quid but it appeared utterly pointless. We have become a sloganising cliche , a rising tide and equality etc while being bailed out by I presume wealthy individuals. Success in footy is never guaranteed but since I have been watching we have gone from 50 or so fans to nearly a thousand but we are only two divisions higher. Still what a game yesterday and we have a fantastic base to build on and the other week Martin Elliot was there watching so all Rooks come home to roost. lets make top and be friendly
