A game we really should have won with that second half performance. But in the end happy with a point that had looked more doubtful with every promising position that wasn't taken advantage of. It was certainly one of the worst displays of officiating I've seen in recent times with bizarre decisions coming thick and fast. Mind you, I think the Cray number 8 was the guy actually reffing the game. He was yapping in the refs ear the whole 90.

Yep, consider that a decent point. Still two games in hand. All to play for. COYR

After getting a bit lucky against Bognor it was the other way round yesterday. Only one team going to win in that second half and who knows if we were given an appropriate amount of injury time maybe we could have found the winner.
Agree about the referee. I would say the standards have improved in the last couple of seasons but yesterdays was a complete clown. Got so much wrong and let Cray dictate every decision and time waste as much as they liked.
Fantastic to see Gondoh and Sablier back on the pitch.
Would have been nice to get one over Tim O’Shea but on we go.

Definitely two points dropped but could have been worse. As the clock ticked down and we swarmed over Cray it had 'one of those days' written all over it. Interesting that, for all our intricate build up play, our last two goals have come from free kicks. Lost count of how many times yesterday we got to the byline and the cut back failed to pick out a white shirt. Puzzling that for 75 minutes we didn't have a recognised forward on the pitch. Maybe someone can enlighten me as to why haven't brought in a forward to provide a plan B from the bench or give Wood (who has been stale for a few games now) a rest/some competition. We have some (a lot) of excellent wide players but no real focal point. Even when Wood does play he tends to drag out wide. With Gondoh and Sablier back there must be some scope to freshen things up ...Murtagh not even on the bench yesterday, Dreher and Moore absent and what does the arrival of Ming mean for Olukoga? Thought Ogunwamide was our best player yesterday. Generally, played some terrific build up football. To be fair to Cray (who held Hastings 0-0) recently), they defended well but offered nothing else unless you count the constant backchat from their no8. Unfortunately the ref lost the plot, although I think he got the penalty call right. It really winds me up when they constantly disrupt the flow of the game to hand out long lectures without a yellow, as happened in the first half. Enjoyable day out ..a good set up at Bromley which is much improved since my last visit, and great away support.

The induction of Gondoh, Wood and Sablier changed the game as they’re very good players two of which we’ve really missed, thankfully it got us out of jail big time. For me a point against Cray is nowhere near as good a performance and the three points as against Bognor who incidentally beat Chatham ! The new right back played very well too.

Pure speculation but I think Moore didn’t take it too well being substituted against Bognor. Russell seemed quite agitated to someone on the bench (I assume Moore) immediately afterwards. Words were certainly exchanged. No Moore in the squad yesterday. Maybe nothing in it. I hope so. I think Dreher injured against Bognor

We’ve got 7 more games this month. We now have a squad and not just a team. Sometimes that means players need a rest, such as Tommy. Luke picked up an injury against Bognor and wasn’t fit for yesterday. The arrival of Sanchez means we can utilise Ayo and Archie further forward and as impact players.
