Having read all of the postings from prospective new Board members for Lewes FC I have to say I was massively impressed at the apparent quality of experience / passion for the Club they all exhibited. Thank you to everyone. It's going to be really difficult for us voters to decide who makes the cut. There are a few 'stand outs' for me but it is really brilliant that so many fans feel they want to get more closely involved. Bravo!
As an aside, can I also plug the 'Pan for Gold' monthly draw organised by the Supporters Club. It's a fiver a month and you can win great cash prizes. More importantly, the SC is totally run voluntarily with very minor expenses so all the 'profits' go to enhancing the facilities for fans at the Pan. There should be a new application form issued shortly so please look out for it and join.

Gave each one a score out of ten then voted for the seven highest scores.

Good luck Steve Watts. You thoroughly deserve a place on the board. One of the few candidates who can boast of being a true local and a long-standing fan of the ‘mighty Rooks’ for many a year. If I still had my club ownership you would get my vote. The club needs ‘fans’ like you on the board who appreciate what a local football club means to local people.

I read all the statements and listened to the pitches at the hustings. Lots of choice and plenty of passion for the club, but not that many were able to articulate a clear tangible way in which they would improve the club. I voted for those who did.

Very interesting article by Jonathan Liew in today's Guardian re women's football. Looks like Rooks have dodged a bullet
