No mention of the Margate game. Did anyone go? Or have I missed it?

No mention of the Margate game. Did anyone go? Or have I missed it? Unfortunately, yes. The match spoiled an otherwise enjoyable weekend in Margateš. Horrible conditions and the artificial pitch did not make for a great spectacle. They wanted it more. Too many players, especially Moore and Wood, were below par. I don't think we created a chance of note, although should have had a penalty at 2-0 down. We are missing Sablier...Murtagh, Whelpdale and Egan (who didn't even get on) looked very good signings but not really cutting it. I can't imagine the manager was very happy with the performance, which had echoes of Chatham. Lewes youth were (I assume) at the fireworks so it was all a bit subdued. Shame, because their number 19 was an absolute bell end who deserved a bit of stick. To be fair to him he had Wood in his pocket all game. He's done well recently, but we have zero options off the bench and he struggled up front on his own. Ended up with the ineffective Moore playing no9. Difficult to pick a motm but Tamplin at least had a go and Pritchard tried to get things moving. The rest were poor. Maybe minds were on Europe, or we were trying to fool any watching Oslo scouts.
