Look what Simon Parker has acheived at Blackburn already, they are sitting on top of the league and I'd say Scott has the better players on paper!.

Yes, we fired him midseason "for lack of performance on the pitch." ........after we finished the highest ever in 5th the year before. The result was sad today as the women exhibited the best passing and ball control of their history. I was impressed. We just can't finish. Scott Booth's frustration is showing as he picked up yet another card today due to his mouth.

I thought we played them off the pitch for long sections of the match. We showed some real understanding of how we want to play and how to move the ball out of a press and up the pitch. That should give the team some real encouragement for the future. However, we never looked like scoring, aside from a possible Olding shot from range and if we can't discover the secret then we'll be on the end of more results like this one.

Has there been a match report or post match interview, don't seem to see these for the women this season.

Has there been a match report or post-match interview, don't seem to see these for the women this season. They have been few and very late coming if at all this year. I suspect a staff overload and/or lack of volunteers. The men's side does a very good job of this -- very timely.

I certainly do appreciate the updates on social media that the volunteers do for the women's team. It's the only way I can follow the away matches in a timely manner.
