The construction of the new toilet blocks at the Dripping Pan begins in Mid November.
It has taken me 2 1/2 years of work to get to this stage with architects, builders, planning consultants and South Downs National Park.
The first block, in the South West should be complete by January and the second block, behind the Philcox Terrace, during the close season.
I thank the Premier League, the FSIF via the Football Foundation, the Board of Directors and a generous commitment from the Supporters Club to complete the funding for this project.
This project will give the Dripping Pan the toilets it has long needed.
I will emphasise that this project requires no funds from any potential future investment, that is currently under consideration, and will now proceed regardless of the outcome of any vote.

That really is great news Ed. Thanks for all your hard work in getting this over the line.
The Pan is a great place to watch the football, but the toilets have always been a bit grim and have been in need of updating for a long time.
Hopefully this will make the match day experience that little bit more comfortable for all.

Hopefully this will make the match day experience that little bit more comfortable for all. This can be said for many toilets at many grounds! I can recall at Gillingham where - apparently - the ladies' toilet differed from the mens' in that they had a roof! They were a health hazard, grim in the extreme. OK, in the toilety experience anywhere I don't expect freshly cut flowers but puddles...no. (That was reference to the Gillingham ones, not ours!)

This is good news, well overdue but well done for getting this over the line. I’m sure that this has taken a lot of hard work, but time and effort well spent. COYR

I made the mistake of going to the loo at Southend once and swore never to touch my shoes again! Burn them! One of many Reasons not to go any more. I started supporting them in 1966 but gave up in 2020. The reasons for the club's decline are common knowledge - I've had enough, I'm a Rook now! It's a trip to a home match (especially week-day, might get home before 01:00!) but I go to Brighton for the day then on to the Pan so it's not just for the game. The joys of retirement! Incidentally, don't you just love non-league? Where else would you see a thread called "Toilets" with a post by "Buster's Mum"?! Beats Etihad any and every day!

Chesterfield's old Saltergate ground had open air toilets. The ones behind the Kop were built on a slope and quite often got blocked, if you used them at half time there would be a stream of you know what running out one end!!

Dunstable away, many years ago. No lights, pitch black and the distinct sound of splashing with every step.
Anyway, well done Ed for your efforts.
