For those who may be considering a trip up to see our next PSF on Thursday, Erith Town have moved from their previous stadium, handily located close to the station in Erith, to Bayliss Avenue in Thamesmead (former home of Thamesmead Town) which isn’t handy for any public transport

How jolly inconsiderate of them! Thanks though for the "heads-up".

Lewes have been there before to play Thamesmead, and we did it by public transport. There is a bus stop pretty close called Lister Walk. Several services stop there. I think we took the tube to Woolwich for lunch, and got a 177 bus from there. It was OK, but that was a Saturday afternoon and not an evening. At the time of writing a couple of us Stodgebusters intend going.

You can of course also use the Elizabeth Line to Abbey Wood which is a 20 minute walk away or 10 mins on the bus.
I believe the game is on the 3G which is next to the old Thamesmead pitch - the main stand has seating for both pitches

Nothing around Thamesmead. Salt Taproom in Woolwich is recommended (by me) - right by the Elizabeth Line. Then either Elizabeth Line to Abbey Wood and 229 or 472 bus, or 177 bus from Woolwich

Three of us ventured along to the game. It was a bit different. The game was played on their 3G pitch next door. It's fenced off and has no spectator area apart from the bar balcony overlooking it. A 2-2 draw and I have no idea who scored. Lewes goals were a free header from a cross, and the second was possibly a cross which went over the keeper into the far corner. Although he might claim he meant it! Their keeper had a good game and made a few decent saves. Defensively we looked a bit shaky, and we gifted them their second. Our new keeper made a couple of good saves but also a few errors. Early days though, and for a team 2 leagues below us Erith were quite good.

Ronnie Vint scored our first goal, the second was from a trialist.
In terms of starters - the first half was Trialist A, Elliott, Shaw, Vint, Trialist B, Murtagh, Olukoga, Moore, Trialist C, Taylor
In the second half Penney and Gondoh played, with the remainder being Trialists
