Through a combination of a stinking cold and the FA Player being spectacularly useless I saw none of this game.
Reading won so Lewes now 4 adrift with 1 to play so we'll be in the National South next season.

Sorry to hear about the FA Player which was announced on Twitter upon resumption. Fortunately, here in the States, I had no issues. Go Figure?

It was an enjoyable occasion, as ever, at the Pan, but I was a little disappointed in what appeared to be a lack of focus on what was needed.
Once we went 2 down early in the second half we continued to try to play careful football with too many backward passes. It had become clear that Palace were better at that kind of football than us.
If ever there was a time for lumping it forward and trying to create something in the box, surely this was it? I got the impression that playing as we did, with great effort and commitment but no seeming recognition of the desperate state we were in, would never lead to even one of the two goals we needed.

Yet again Whitehouse was by far the best Rook on the pitch. The players still look unfit compared to the opposition and the Rooks gave away so much possession to Palace. I guess 90 % of the squad and staff will be off after next Sunday, let's hope a change of Manager will bring a change in performance and fitness in any future players.
