Three Lewes fans have reasons to be cheerful despite last night’s disappointing result in the match with Canvey Island. We belatedly did the January ‘Pan for Gold’ Draw in the Rook Inn at half time. First ball out was No 3 - that of long-time member Mark ‘Chunky’ Cornford. He gets £60.50. Terry Boyle was then invited to draw the second ball and somehow managed to grab his own! No 69. So he wins £30.50. Big Deaksey drew the third ball and it was that of Sue Ridley – No 36. Sue wins £30.50. We’ll make sure that February’s draw takes place this month.

:)Well spotted Terry. Match I had earmarked for the draw was postponed due to pitch inundation. Then my eldest son James's wife Laura produced the goods - Samuel Joseph David Arnold weighed in at a massive 11lbs 7oz. All of his baby clothes are far too small and we are open to offers for a job lot. In fact I've signed Sam up to start with our under-18s the week after next as soon as he has finished his A-Levels. Oh - and we will do the February draw this Saturday in the Rook Inn at half time against King Kongstonians!
