The November draw was held at half time in the Rook Inn at the game with Cray Wanderers. Witnesses included Lewes FC Director Stuart Fuller, Jason Foulkes and Terry Boyle. Stuart pulled out the first ball and it was No 11 - Andy Hayes, a great fan and Manager of my favourite offie - Hartleys (the fact that it is my nearest offie doesn't come into this!). He wins £69. Next out was the ball of Roger Palmer (No 30). Roger happened to be observing and was well chuffed to win £34.50. Third prize - also of £34.50 - went to No 16, Kevin Fingerneissel. Right now Kevin just happens to be sunning himself on a beach in Barbados but I know he will be monitoring this forum and now knows he can afford a couple of extra rum punches for him and his lovely missus Mandy. Anyway, then the evening got complicated. Terry B asked to take a look at the list to remind him of what his number was. I duly obliged and was mortified to find his name wasn't there. He joined by standing order less than a year ago and I was sure I entered him but obviously I mucked it up somehow. We'll refund him whatever £5 monthly subs he has so far paid and start again. For December we'll make sure Terry has his ball and he can personally put it into the bag immediately prior to the draw. Embarrassing for me but on the other hand proof that 'Pan for Gold' is open to inspection by anyone taking part. Anyone wanting clarification of their number should email me: david@lewesfc.com
