I do believe we nearly have 400 shareholders.

If my calculations are correct, that is at least 12000k in the pot. Bound to be more if people bought the shares at 1k. Great stuff.

We do need to avoid complacency. Yes - the club is doing fantastically well compared to just a year or so ago. But everyone needs to know that the gains have to be sustained. Even with all of our volunteers doing so much we still need money and all kinds of help to keep the club going. Support the Rooks in whatever way you can.

I have two 2 year old grandchildren who would like to purchase a "joint" share for £30. Is this possible

:DPleased to say the Board agreed this one. It means the two grandchildren will be receiving a Share Certificate and a 'Lewes FC Owner' badge to be proudly worn by each. Of course they can't vote nor can their votes be used by others but it is a wonderful souvenir for the kids. Made me think about a Junior Rooks Club...

""""junior rooks club""""
Was'nt this raised at a meeting several months ago and as far as i can remember nothing ever came of it. Shame it never materialised then.

The important thing on the shareholding scheme is that it is well publicised in following years to enable the same sort of take up on applications. Ebbsfleet suffered a difficult few years when their subscription suffered a downturn. The Junior Rooks club is a must to encourage the young with reduced prices, a few freebies and discounts for mechandise.

Thanks David. I am sure the two boys will be delighted with their certificates and badges. Certificates are being framed so that they can hang them in their bedrooms.

Hi Tracy. Sounds like a brilliant idea!
I can see quite a few people offering this as a Christmas gift.
