Just announced on X. Quite impressive.Should be a reasonable indicator of where we will be heading next season.

Huge congratulations to whoever organised the schedule of friendlies next season. Great to have home fixtures against Crawley, Eastbourne Borough and Worthing ( all higher up the league pyramid) which will generate much needed income for the club as well as a good few away fans to enhance the atmosphere. Good also to have short away trips to both Haywards Heath and East Grinstead which I’m sure will be well followed by Lewes fans. All in all I’m sure all fans will be happy with this. All I ask now is can we please enter the Sussex senior cup next season instead of the pointless expedition into Europe!

Always enjoy trips to Aywuds Efff and East Grinny and some decent home games as well, pleased with that.

Maybe we’re returning to more enlightened times. Friendlies against local teams, and some home games. We’ve already announced two signings which is two more than we knew about with a week to go in the last few seasons.

Pretty sure we had few (or possibly none) home friendlies last year due to the pitch being delayed.

Thanks Seagulhhater, highly unusual to receive praise on this forum. The pre-season scheduling was a joint effort between Pitts and myself.

Certainly the most interesting array of pre season friendlies I've seen in a few years. It could only really have been improved by a visit from the Albion, but I would imagine they will be in the UAE or somewhere like that. Well done John and Pitts

I think Brighton are away at Hastings on the 31st of July, so not beyond the realms of possibility

I think Brighton are away at Hastings on the 31st of July, so not beyond the realms of possibility I'd imagine that's a Brighton XI. More chance of Roger Feltham winning Miss World than the first team turning up at a non-league ground these days, sadly. Good work on the fixtures, John/Pitts.

From what I see, there's plenty of praise on here when pposters / readers think the club have done good things, eg these friendlies, blagging a free pitch, etc
But surely no-one can be surprised if praise is in short supply when ropey things such as treating the kitman appallingly, entertaining the idea of private equity getting involved with a community club, running the club in a way that loses hundreds of thousands of pounds, etc are being discussed?
