Well if I thought we had to adapt to play on Whitehawk’s pitch earlier in the week, tonight was in a different league. Atrocious condition which made it very difficult to play any decent football but an excellent and well deserved point in the end.

I'll take that. Great result on a terrible pitch not suited to our game at all, and on the wrong end of a lot of decisions IMO. The back line was heroic against the aerial barrage and, barring the goal, kept them at bay. In truth, neither keeper had much to do. That last gasp equaliser was just beautiful. I didn't think it was coming but it was totally deserved and it silenced the mouthy kids who were celebrating the win prematurely.

Not quite sure what your game is although your FA Funded pitch doesnt seem to suit your game either looking at your results, weather home or away. On the other hand our Council owned pitch has been in excellent condition until the recent bad weather prevented the groundsman from working on it. I think we have probably been really lucky this year to have only lost once in twenty games and to manage to score more goals than anyone else and concede the least You probably wish that luck would rub off on you although I think you had your fair share last night especially as we had eight first team players un available and could only name four substitutes Good luck for the rest of the season

Now now fergie - bit rattled by a couple of comments about the dodgy condition of your pitch? You’re 6 points clear at the top just try to enjoy it mate 😂
Don’t get us started on the state of the rest of the ground…

Having read your very interesting "Match Report" Our so called overweight centre half who has scored 9 league goals this season was halfway home last night when he had to turn back as he still had Tommy Wood in his pocket

If most other clubs had 8 players missing they'd struggle to field a team! Reckless spending from you lot again, I'm sure we'll see yet another reincaration of AFC Hornchurch again sometime

BTW, an FA grant is also largely paying for our two new toilet blocks.

Fergie, we picked up two balls on the M25 on our way home. Guess they were both No6 clearances. Don't know where the others went.
