A couple of big "ifs" here. IF we were to make the first round and IF we were drawn at home it would clash with Bonfire Night. That would be a problem. Brilliant stuff today from the lads. H&R didn't really get a sniff and were rather poor I thought for a team a league above. Someone said they are a full time outfit too, which makes it worse. Playing like that I reckon H&R would struggle in our league, let alone the National South!

What a performance today - best I’ve seen from the lads this season. Every player in the 11 put in at least a 7/10 performance, even if there were a few slack passes at the back and even when Tommy mucked up the square to Deon in the first đŸ˜…. The press, the desire, and the commitment was all there today and it resulted in some beautiful footy that was worth every penny to watch.
Hoping for a decent draw on Monday. COYR!

Another good performance today. The new shape definitely works at the moment. Still get a bit nervous though with some of our play out from the back. Is it me or is the constant harassment of officials and feigning injury on the wain. Certainly the last two games have been much more enjoyable in terms of overall football entertainment. Seems to allow the referee's to keep the game moving more. Take a home game in the FA Cup next round. COYR

It would be moved to the Friday evening because it will be live on BBC!

I enjoyed it too and Pritchard in particular was excellent.
After the first five minutes I thought we were going to get whipped. We started dreadfully with some really slack passing and Hampton should’ve punished us. Then Pritchard stepped up, took control of the centre, we got a bit of a scrappy lead and never looked back.
Their number 8, Alfie Someone, had some skill but went to ground like a Premiership player. He should’ve been booked for a dive to try to win a penalty, but with some discipline he looked like he could be a good player.
Apologies for the gripe, but we do need a decent centre forward.

Some players should try refereeing and be on the receiving end. I have and it's not a great experience.

The official match report mentions an incident I sadly missed:
‘Nathan Harvey was called into action for the first time in the closing stages, helping a deflected Alfy Whittingham **** round the post.’

Nathan made one suave, Brad had a dog at goal, we hit the past, had a tree kick, and scared three times. Good moaning!
