Glad I’m not the only one with issues on the bar - it’s an absolute shambles. If ever there was a day to sell a bucket load of beer.
Why oh why do they not just pre pour before half time, I didn’t bother and won’t bother until it improves, always the worst part of the day.

I must say that I had no qualms with the bar yesterday. Was served swiftly before the game and got a pint during half time at the back of the philcox, a little bit of a wait but there was a large queue with two chaps working extremely hard in the heat to serve us as quickly as possible.
When buying a drink in the bar, I find the main issue is having to wait for a card machine to be available as it seems that it is one machine per two bar staff.
I’m not sure what the solution is to ease the pain with queues, we already have three bars all of which staffed with people doing their best. Pre-pouring could be an idea but in hot conditions like yesterday the beer would get warm very quickly and also where would the pre-poured pints be stored?

Bar was painfully slow, gave up in end as was missing watching the game. I’ll have to sneak in a few cold tinnies next game !

Yes, rank isn't it? I moaned pre season about how slow the service was - not the staff, but pumps which seem to pour slower than my own tubes now I'm getting old. Gave up during the last game and I now take a hip flask in. Totally agree 👍

Thought we started well and Tamplin had a bright 20 minutes or so, but faded after his silly booking. I reckon his dad was there seeing that Ferrari parked badly. Wood should have scored, but after Invicta hit the bar they looked the more dangerous team and deserved the win. Some criticism of Salmon above, but there was some slack play in front leaving him exposed. Murtagh had a poor game in particular and the midfield defensive shield and a less than clinical centre forward, thus far, seem to be our main weaknesses. Gondoh comfortably man of the match for us, although I'd have given it to their number 10. Totally agree - especially the part about Salmon. Unfortunately some people only see the player on the ball and not what’s effecting the play!

Not the bar but the Shack - please put the chocolate confectionary in the fridge! My Maltesers were a bag of warm chocolate sauce. Still ate them, though I imagine it wasn't the prettiest of sights! And better luck on the raffle this week - right colour and only 231 out! First prize - you SHALL be mine! (One day....sigh...)
I'm away on hol's for the Ascot game so if you see a lone fan in a 17 away shirt (Thanks, Stuart!) at the Isis Bar in Ferreries, Menorca on match-evening with Live Scores on the iPad - that'll be me (probably).
