I know its early but where do you really think we will finish at the end of the season? Im hoping for promotion either as champions or playoff winners.

I would love to see us win promotion and i believe we have the man in charge to do just that along with one of the best supporters in the league and a fantastic board. Players he has brought can easily do that e.g. Robinson, Holloway, Booth, Cade, Sonner and Draycott. Looking forward to the new season COME ON YOU ROOKS

Yes it would be nice to know who will profit from this sell-off. Not "owners" apparently.

Even with the signings so far, we have a first eleven that look like BSS champions. Until Gary Holloway is available, we would have to play a 5-3-2 or 5-2-3 formation, unless either Nic Ciardini or Jordan Lang play central midfield. At the moment, plenty of other players seem to want to be part of the squad. That's what makes watching the friendlies so interesting.

Not making predictions this season as the Ryman Premier is almost an unknown entity for me in terms of how good the teams are so I will wait a few games before I judge.

Take away the top 5-6 from the BSS and the bottom 3-4 from Ryman and the standard will be very similiar between the rest of the BSS and the Ryman Premier - big strong and well organised teams full of experienced players. That's why it is hard to get out of - with only one guaranteed promotion spot it is difficult if 2 or 3 teams have money behind them. That's why I think top half is good and playoff contention brilliant result this season. It all depends who has got money to pay for a bigger squad with 2-3 outstanding players - if we get a lot of injuries we will suffer. King will know who has the money but I suspect Lowestoft will be one of them.

No of injuries will definately be key, but boothy and robbo played the majority of farnboroughs games last year so they have obviously been taking care of themselves and are in good nic so lets keep erm crossed this form of good health continues

i'd be happy to see better football, a regular team and consolidation in the league.

Lewes should be champions, play offs at very least. Money doesnt always bring success, skills, people management, tactics often do and Steve King has it all.

Are we being too optimistic? I think we need to take into account the first 4 or 5 league games in order to make a calculated judgement.
Although, in saying that - I seriously do hope that we can make the Play-Offs, but first, I'd quite like to see us not at the foot of the table for once. It's been 3 seasons since we've been out the bottom of the table (for a decent period of time) - I just hope we are picking up 3 points when we should be.

piste...you must be. some of you are just wasting time posting of 'our' brilliance and winning the league. i hope king delivers and in budget and he is capable of doing this. but i had a call from old shuggy this morning, life member at worthing, who told me that some of our fans posts had been used to gee up the rebels today. theres no need to wind up anyone from the opposition and until we are on a role, lets not add pressure on the team. piste....get reality.
