So what went wrong for Alfie? Star signing at start of season and originally Captain I think. Often an unused sub for recent games. I have updated squad on page 1 Had a decent enough start to the season but then took a knock I believe which saw Brad start ahead of him. Brad’s great form and the fact that they’re both a similar type of box-to-box player meant that Alfie was left on the bench. Started against Aldershot and was very much lacking match fitness. It might have been an issue with his attitude as well, being captain and sitting on the bench more often that not I can’t imagine he’d be happy or perhaps he had lost some confidence? Who knows. Best of luck to him anyway.

Never really got going. Writing's been on the wall for a while. Shame Sablier got injured, as the midfield hasn't been the same without him.

Anyone know anything on Sablier? Heard he had a bad injury, was wondering if that was him done for us and he was back at Bromley now? Massive shame if so, he looked a real find. Not as bad as first feared but unlikely to feature this year again. Hopefully, we may see Ryan Gondoh back before Christmas

And before you look him up on Wiki, no, he’s not the footballer that died in 1982…

See that Alfie Young who supposedly didn't re-sign for us because he wanted to play for a London club is lining up for Ramsgate, alongside Joe Taylor, this evening. Must be the sea air that lures them there.

How long do we have Sab on loan for? Is it the whole season or just a fixed number of months?
